Registration for the Gloucester Rangers 2021/2022 tryouts is now open. The tryout fee structure and timelines are listed below. Please note: the details are subject to change. All of the latest information will be posted on the Rangers twitter account and our website, please check back regularly.

Tryout Information:

U9-U11

Tryout Fee: $300

Tentative Start Date: September 7, 2021

Each player will receive the following:

  • Tryout jersey and socks
  • 3 x 1.5 hours of pre-tryout ‘rust off’ ice sessions (no evaluations will be done during these on ice sessions)
  • 2 x 1 hour skill sessions and small area games (formal evaluation)
  • Minimum of 1 intersquad game (formal evaluation)
  • Maximum of 3 intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • 1 x 1 hour goalie technical evaluations
  • 2 x 1 hour balancing games (for players and goalies selected to the teams)

U12-U13

Tryout Fee: $250

Tentative Start Date: August 28, 2021

Each player will receive the following:

  • Tryout jersey and socks
  • Minimum of 4 x 1-1.5 hour intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • Maximum of 6 x 1-1.5 hour intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • 1 x 1 hour goalie technical evaluations

U14-U15

Tryout Fee: $275

Tentative Start Date: August 28, 2021

Each player will receive the following:

  • Tryout jersey and socks
  • One contact clinic to teach the basics of body checking
  • Minimum of 3 x 1.5 hour intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • Maximum of 5 x 1.5 hour intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • 1 x 1 hour goalie technical evaluations

U16-U18

Tryout Fee: $150

Tentative Start Date: September 13, 2021

Each player will receive the following:

  • Tryout jersey and socks
  • Minimum of 2 x 1.5-2 hour intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • Maximum of 4 x 1.5-2 hour intersquad games (formal evaluation)
  • 1 x 1 hour goalie technical evaluations
