Since the specifics of the development sessions are still being worked out, the Rangers will also be holding a town hall meeting. This will be a zoom meeting and is open to anyone interested to find out more about the upcoming development sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Due to Covid restrictions, traditional tryouts and team selections cannot occur at this time. The Gloucester Rangers have decided to move ahead with conditioning and development sessions which will take place from September to December 2020.
During the development phase there will be no league play of games.
If and when traditional programming is permitted, the Rangers will conduct a coordinated tryout open to all players, including those not part of the Gloucester Rangers development groups, to create our rostered teams.
No competitive travel hockey will be permitted during the development phase.
Please note, the framework is subject to change at any time.
The fee structure for the Rangers development sessions is:
- Block 1 - $250 for September
- Block 2 - $250 for October
- Block 3 - $500 for November/December (500 total for the two months combined)
- Pricing includes 8×50 minute on-ice sessions and 8 off-ice sessions per month as well as the insurance costs due to HEO/Hockey Canada.
- As restrictions are revised, the size and frequency of the bubbles will be subject to change and the costs will be evaluated.
Specifics about the development sessions are still being worked out and require approval from HEO. More information will be available at the Town Hall meeting.

Any U10-U18 player who belongs to the GHA can register, however a limited number of players will be selected for each development group.
All players and goalies interested in taking part in the Gloucester Rangers development sessions are asked to fill out the online registration below. This process will open effective Saturday, August 8th, 2020 and is expected to close August 21st, 2020.
Final registrations will be completed by the Rangers once eligibility has been confirmed through their home associations. Players not selected for a Gloucester Rangers development group will be encouraged to register for their home association development sessions.
Yes, all players must register with their home association (Orleans, Blackburn, Gloucester Centre, Leitrim, Metcalfe or Russell). The home association registers the players with Hockey Canada and must be completed before players can take part in any ice sessions.
Yes, the $100 for insurance/admin fees plus the $110 for the monthly fee will be transferred for all players who make a Rangers development group. These fees will be deducted from the costs due to the Rangers.
Yes, we encourage all players being considered for a AAA bubble development session to also register for Rangers in the event they are not invited to a AAA bubble.
Yes, the Rowan's Law Acknowledgment form must be completed and uploaded during the registration process.

For those who are participating in any overlapping AAA development sessions and will not know if they have been selected, please still register with the Rangers and keep VP Admin - Matthew Graham updated on your status.
The development groups will be formed shortly after the registration deadline for most levels. The U13, U14, and U15 development groups may be formed a few days later than the rest of the levels, depending on when the AAA development sessions wrap-up.
