Novice Gold Celebrates Great Weekend of Hockey

The inaugural season of Novice half ice hockey is underway and the Gloucester Rangers Gold team entered into the 6th annual Capital Gold Rush hosted by the Gloucester Rangers.

The first day saw the Rangers take on the Nepean Raiders Black and Stoufville Clippers. As the second game drew to a close, the Rangers were starting to implement their game plan of spreading the ice and moving the puck quickly.
Day two brought on the initial skills showcase, where the Rangers participated in the Fastest Team Relay, Goal Scoring Showdown, Passing Accuarcy, Agility Puck Control Competition and a 2 on 0 Scoring Drill. The Rangers finished third in the Skills Competition, squeaking in to the Gold Skills Championship. The day finished off with a game against Nepean Raiders White.
