Novice Green Wows Hometown Crowd!

Our Novice Rangers Green team brought home hardware at Gold Rush Tournament. They secured silver after a thrilling weekend of top-notch hockey.

The Novice Rangers Green team kicked off their season with a great showing in the Capital Gold Rush Tournament on September 20-22 nd. The new 4-on-4 format resulted in fast-paced scrimmages with numerous puck touches per player and non-stop action, making for a weekend of entertaining hockey!
Our team battled hard throughout the weekend and brought home silver after the skills competition.
The team faced the Stoufville Clippers and Nepean Raiders White on day one, showing poise with the puck and increasingly hitting their teammates with smart passes. During the skills competition our Rangers displayed strong skating, shooting and stick-handling skills. The team finished the day playing the Burlington Eagles, where they battled hard in the corners and drove the net.
During Sunday’s Skills Competition, they went toe-to-toe against the Nepean Raiders Black and the Stoufville Clippers. The team excelled in the timed relay, shootout competition and 4-on-2 power play challenge.
