Major Peewee A - Winterlude Champions

The Major Peewee A "Green Machine" wins second tournament of the season, this time at our own Rangers Winterlude Tourney! Our first round-robin game was against a team from Vermont. It was a tight match at first, but our Rangers pulled together and came up with a solid 4-1 win. Our second game slated us against the Toronto Colts, and this one was no contest as we outshot them 42-5 and won the game 9-0! For our last round-robin game, we were pitted against a local foe -- the Nepean Raiders -- a team against which we seem to always have tough and close games....and this game was no different. It was a see-saw affair with furious action in both ends of the rink -- but our Rangers prevailed with a 3-2 win in this nail-biter!
