2008 Bantam AA Winterlude Tournament Champions

Wow!! Our team has done it again - another tournament and another win. This time it was our very own Gloucester Rangers Winterlude Tournament held February 2nd to the 4th. The boys consistently played strong in all four round robin games with the end scores being 9-1 vs Essex, 6-1 vs Rideau St. Lawernce, 5-1 vs Sting and 4-3 vs Kitchener Jr. Rangers. Despite the number of penalty calls, the opposing teams could not take the wins away from our boys. The final game was a rematch against the Kitchener Jr. Rangers and once again it qualified as nail biter entertainment. The score remained tied well in to the second period until a great team play gave us another goal and put us in the lead. That lead was maintained to the end of the game, despite an excruciating last minute of a 6 on 3 power play for Kitchener. It is their third well deserved tournament trophy to mark the team's endurance and hard work.
