Minor Midget AA Defend Oakville Title

Over the Christmas holidays, the Gloucester Rangers Minor Midget team successfully recaptured the Richard Bell Memorial Tournament in Oakville.  The team suffered a minor setback in their opening game by losing to the host Oakville Rangers 3-0.  They made amends though by defeating both Windsor Spitfires (11-0) and Finland (8-0). As well, the team defeated Etobicoke Canucks 2-0.

In the playoffs, the Rangers faced Humberview Huskies in an exciting semi final match.  Both teams were well matched but the Rangers were victorious in overtime. They won 3-2.  In the finals the Rangers faced a strong Oshawa Generals.  Again the team was forced to play in overtime in order to defeat the Generals.  The final score was 4-3.  Congratulations on a well earned victory.  Go Rangers Go!
