Playoffs Now Complete

The Rangers have just completed a highly successful playoff run as an organization. Congratulations are in order for our League and Playoff Champion Minor Bantam 'A' and Major Midget 'AA' squads! Kudos to all of our teams for another great season of hockey. Stay tuned for information on next year's tryouts, and enjoy a safe off-season. To our graduating Major Midgets, thank you for all you have done for the Rangers program over the course of your minor hockey careers, and continued success in your future pursuits!

Former Ranger Cracks Team Ontario Under 17's
Ben Shutron named to under 17's

Congratulation to Ben Shutron, Gloucester Ranger Alumni, for being named to the Team Ontario Under 17 2005 World Hockey Challenge Team. Ben is currently playing for the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL.

 

Minor Peewee 'A' Win Guelph PowerPlay Tournament

The Minor Pee Wee A Team returned as champions of the Guelph Power Play Tournament November 26th to the 28th. The team dropped their first game then went on win the next 4 games defeating the Brantford 99'ers in the finals. Congratulations to all the players and coaches. And of course, don't forget to take a look at the obligatory victory photo!

 

Minor Bantam 'A' Champions of the Mississauga North Stars Pre-Christmas Classic AA Tournament

The Minor Bantam 'A' team went thru the round robin undefeated with wins against Kentwood and Capital Center, teams from Michigan and the host Mississauga North Stars. They went on to beat the West Toronto Knights in the semi-final by 7-3 and ended with a great triumph over the Goulding Rangers from Toronto 2-1. Overall they outscored the competition 23-5! Rangers Dominate Ottawa Sting Icebreaker Tournament

The Rangers were crowned tournament champions at 3 levels the weekend of October 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Ottawa Sting Icebreaker Tournament. Over 36 teams participated in this AAA/AA tournament.

Congratulations to the players and coaching staff of the Minor Bantam 'AA', Major Peewee 'AA' and Minor Peewee 'AA'!

Major Atom 'AA' Wins Big

Congratulations to the Major Atom 'AA' Rangers on being the 31st Annual K-W Oktoberfest Tournament Champs! Get the full scoop in the next edition of the Ranger Rap.

 

Major Midget 'AA' Win Big Nickel

For the second year in a row, the Gloucester Rangers Major Midget 'AA' have won the Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury. They finished the 4 game round robin in second place in their division with 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. They then went on to win the quarter final 3 - 1 against North bay, then won the semi final 5 - 1 against London. The team persevered with a hard found victory in the final, 3 - 2 over Timmins.
